Challenge and Solution
There are 1460 territorial communities in Ukraine. In 2027, they will have to update their current development strategies, creating new plans for the next seven years (2027-2034). Many communities lack the expertise to independently create custom strategic plans, requiring an easy-to-use solution that can guide them through the process.
Based on the client’s request, our team created an MVP of a platform that could automate the majority (up to 80%) of the tasks necessary for creating development strategies. Our tools reduce workload for consulting specialists by leveraging modern AI, which is guided by detailed prompts containing thorough methodological recommendations for strategy development. The users can also receive in-depth advice from human experts within the app, which enables them to perfect AI-generated strategies and adapt them to the most complex variables.
Our project development team (interns supervised by mentors) delivered a fully functioning MVP within 1 month, allowing the client to start testing their product in cooperation with real territorial communities.
Solution 1. Implementing user-friendly and high-quality AI automation
Our team integrated modern generative models into the project and created several additional instruments to maximize the quality of its output. We carefully configured custom instructions for generative AI, providing development strategy samples and detailed methodological recommendations for the model. Our interns also added a detailed questionnaire to enable territorial communities to provide the information needed for generating strategy drafts. The team also added tools in the admin panel for editing custom instructions, which makes it easier to adjust the prompts when needed.
Solution 2. Integrating formatting tools for development strategy documents
Development strategies documents are usually very large, requiring a lot of formatting and editing work. Our intern team developed tools for exporting generative AI output without losing formatting and integrated the Rich Text Editor into the project to provide a convenient text UI for editing and style adjustments.
Solution 3. Optimizing token usage for user prompts
There are many generative AI tools on the market today: they offer varying combinations of price and text quality. The Keenethics team analyzed a large number of options to arrive at a perfect combination that would deliver the best balance of price and quality. To further optimize AI token usage and minimize costs, we added token limits per user, taking the most likely usage patterns into consideration.
